Look over the microRAMAN
Unquestionable flexibility of the latest Raman Technology
Raman spectroscopy identifies substances based on their unique molecular fingerprint. With the 785nm laser delivering up to 470 mW optical power and the latest advanced CMOS sensor, delivering high sensitivity without cooling, you can rapidly identify the unknown substance without unpacking. Just choose the adapter and measure through the wall of packaging. The microRAMAN device directs a laser at the sample and analyzes scattered light to determine its chemical composition. This allows accurate identification without altering or destroying the material.
Why to choose
the microRAMAN?
The microRAMAN combines portability, accuracy, and speed in a single device, making it a reliable solution for field identification. Our handheld spectrometer brings the most modern hardware with high SW and HW performance. With the RS DYNAMICS’s latest software patch you can measure either one substance or mixtures. To achieve the best result, simply substract the spectra of packaging material.
The microRaman automatically compares your measurement with internal spectral library, containing more than 24 000+ items on the list. Or create and use your own library.

785 nm vs 1064 nm Raman Spectroscopy:
The Ultimate Balance of Sensitivity and Performance
785 nm Raman spectroscopy is preferred solution over 1064 nm because it provides a stronger signal and better sensitivity. The shorter wavelength generates more intense Raman scattering, resulting in a higher signal-to-noise ratio and faster measurements.
While 1064 nm reduces fluorescence more effectively, it produces a much weaker Raman signal, which can lead to longer acquisition times and lower spectral detail.
In summary, 785 nm offers a balanced compromise—sufficient fluorescence suppression with significantly better performance for most practical applications.
